update on maclyn/heater

Yes, as of today we FINALLY have heat again and Im loving it.
Two days ago I took Maclyn to the E.R because his diarrhea was getting worse, it was not even 8 o clock or so and he had already had six icky diapers so in we went and they checked him out and said he had DOUBLE EAR INFECTIONS......... no clue about that, poor little guy always has them and will most likely have tubes put in this year. Then they figured it was a bacterial infection, not sure how or why but gave me antibiotics and cream for his diaper rash. I also noticed 4 new teeth coming in, wich is most likely part of it.
Well today was his follow up with his own dr. and she said his ears look much better and thought his throat was red so tested him for strep AGAIN and AGAIN it was NEG. thankfully.
She also was upset the E.R didnt test his stool so they could figure it out. too late now, ever since he started the antibiotics the dirty diapers really slowed down, thank goodness. so today only ONE YAHOO. anyways his dr. asked me to undress him so she could check out the diaper rash and we found spots on him that looked like huge bug bites and she said take him off the antibiotics he is having an allergic reaction to them. BLAHHHH. does it ever get better? prob. not. so then she said start him on benadryl until the rash goes away, start him on a new antibiotic tomorrow if the diarrhea continues and blablabla.
What Im getting at is that Maclyn is infact doing much better and is so much happier.
Does anyone else have a toddler that likes to bang their heads on hard objects when they dont get their way. LOL Maclyn has developed that wonderous new habit and he is giving himself gooseggs and bruises all over his face. It's making me crazy-er!
