Steven's parents bought us tickets to fly to Canada to visit them while we can. It has been well over a year since we have been to Steven's home town and it was a much needed visit.
It snowed the 1st and 2Nd day but after that it was all rain, no SUNSHINE. We still had a good time visiting the family and Maclyn loved his cousin Lukas and they played great together. I'm sure they are missing each other and I wish we were closer so they could play more.
We got to meet our niece Ally who will be one in July, she is so dang cute and has the biggest eyes. It wasn't until the day before we left that she warmed up to us.
We were sad to go not knowing when we will get the chance to see them all again but it was very nice to fly into Vegas seeing SUNSHINE and warm weather. we left gloomy 40 degrees.
Maclyn learned how to sing and do the actions to "no more monkeys jumping on the bed", thanks to his Grandma Innis. It's so cute and I will have to film it. He also learned how to go up and down the stairs but the last night fell down them, that was scary.
Steven was able to help his dad and brother with some electrical work they needed and the rest of the time we just chilled out.
we miss them already and hope to see them soon.
When we left for Canada we had a good feeling about work for Steven, he pretty much had a job, it just had not started yet. Well I called my mom the night before we left and I was told that the job was OFF because they lost their bids or finances for all the jobs that were to start so the company laid off allot of their employees. so now we are back to square one again and stressing again and BLAH.
